Our architect-designed, 4.5 star (guest-rated), self-contained private cottages have been crafted to cater for families, accompanying pets, disabled or wheelchair guests, children or elderly guests, yet also perfect for couple romantic getaways or business retreats.

Each cottage (regardless 2 or 3 bedroom) is the Noosa Council-allowed maximum 80 sq metres and has its own distinctive character and decor, providing all the same comforts of home, including:

• All linen, towels and soaps are provided
• A fully-equipped kitchen (refrigerator\freezer, glass cooktop, oven, microwave, gas barbecue on the patio) with all supplies (dinnerware, cooking utensils).
• A full private laundry (washer, dryer, outdoor clothes line, iron and board) with available cleaning supplies (vacuum cleaner, broom, mop & bucket).
• Baths with showers (except Cooroora cottage has indoor and outdoor showers only). Note: Each cottage has one bathroom.
• One queen size bed in each bedroom. (The Cooroora cottage lounge also offers a sofa single bed for its possible maximum seventh guest).
• TV, DVD or CD player with several movie DVDs for free use. You may bring your own movie DVDs or music CDs.
• Private cottage phone with no charge calls between cottages or manager’s office.
• Separate indoor and outdoor dining tables.
• Wi-Fi internet broadband is available in the Studio Suite Unit and around the pool area. Reception is good from nearby Black Mountain towers for your own mobile phone or laptop computer usage.
• Reverse cycle heat\air conditioning unit in each lounge and ceiling fans in each bedroom
• Private patio with outdoor furniture and gas barbecue
• Private parking area with double carport
• Direct views toward Mt. Cooroora
• Shared solar-heated swimming pool with elevated panoramic views located at a supervised covered deck area next to manager’s residence\office.
• Baby cot(s) (with flannel sheets) and high chair available without charge
• Complimentary coffee, tea and sugar are provided in each cottage.
• Each cottage offers a private temporary dog kennel (either in the form of gated verandahs (Australian & Federation cottages), a walled rear courtyard (Cooroora cottage) or fine mesh kennel with dog house available for all cottages and the Studio Suite Unit by the manager’s residence) as dogs are not allowed inside the cottages when guests are away (See our “Pet Policy” on the Features page for more information).

Australian cottage

The two storey, three bedroom, combination tile and carpeting Australian cottage (cottage #1) was designed with families in mind, and accommodates a maximum six guests. Federation cottage

Despite its raised appearance (due to being built into the hillslope), the two bedroom, fully-carpeted Federation cottage (cottage #2) is a single floor, and accommodates a maximum four guests. Access from the private entrance path is either via a side stairway to the front verandah or via a continued sloped paved pathway rising to the rear verandah gate, making it also accessible for elderly guests. Cooroora cottage

The 1 ½ storey, three bedroom , fully tiled, sandstone facade Cooroora cottage (cottage #3) was specifically created for disabled or wheelchair guests, but available to all guests. The lounge’s sofa single bed allows the maximum seven guests. The Cooroora cottage, with its covered outdoor patio area, also best serves as “the meeting place” when other cottages are booked for an exclusive family reunion or celebration. Read more

Studio Suite

Distinct from the three distant lower cottages, the Studio Suite Unit is a self-contained apartment located at the opposite end of the manager’s residence. It has its own private entrance, parking area and patio, similar to a duplex or commercial holiday unit. The self-contained fully-tiled unit is on a single level and comprises three rooms; a large lounge with a kitchen area, a private bathroom with walk-in shower, and bedroom with one queen bed.
